Hi, I’m Elise!

I’m the owner and groomer behind Bears Grooming Salon.

Bears first opened its doors in 2020, when I quite literally hijacked the living room and turned it into my very first grooming salon. It didn’t take long before we outgrew the space, and fast-forward to today, we have our very own salon and have had thousands of paws through our doors.

I’m qualified to City & Guilds Level 2 and 3 in Dog Grooming, as well as holding a degree in Canine Behaviour and Training. This has adapted my approach to grooming, aimed at creating a calm, positive experience while making sure every dog leaves looking and feeling their best.

And the name? Bears is named after my first dog, Archie Bear, who I got when I was 14. He was the beginning of my love for dogs and the inspiration behind everything I’ve built. What started with one dog has grown into the salon I have today, and I couldn’t be prouder of how far we’ve come.
